Here is a neon sign I did for California Customs. It is a Indian motorcycle made with turquoise and rose neon. The customer takes this sign with him to motorcycle trade shows and events.

Fedex Sprinter Van Lettered

This is one of three Fedex sprinter vans I have done. This is not an easy application. There is a pretty deep groove in the side panels that the vinyl has to go into. With a little patience and a few tricks of the trade I can make it look as good as if it was painted on.

First Neon for Home Owner

This was the very first neon sign I did that went into a home. It was made in 1988 and was for a Judge here in Dickson, TN. The colors was clear blue and red with a white border. It is still operating to this day.

Neon Longevity

I made this sign for Family Footcare in Franklin TN back in 1994 and it has never needed service. Neon can out last any other form of lighting.

Neon Catfish

Doesn’t this make you want to go fishing? The man I made this for was big on fishing and he love to collect neon. It was made with clear blue neon and mounted on black plastic.

From Father to Son Loveless Cafe

My Dad John T. Rivers made the original neon for the world famous Loveless Cafe in Nashville Tennessee back in the 1950′s

Just a few years ago I was fortunate to be commissioned to do the neon for the building and recreate the original CAFE neon sign that hung in the front window.

If you are in Nashville pay them a visit. The food and atmosphere is great.

Student Project

This was one of the projects that my student Joel did during his apprenticeship with me. I like to let my students have some fun by coming up with their own ideas of what they would like to do. It is a good incentive to help them learn.
